The South-west Finland Regional Forecast is a publication by the bank OP and the regional association of Suomen Yrittäjät, the Finnish SME organization. It is the oldest annual regional economic forecast in Finland. The Regional Forecast arose from the need to forecast the coming year’s economic development and make business owners’ voices heard. The South-west Finland Regional Forecast has been published since 1994. Eurofacts produces the entire Regional Forecast and the related stakeholder concept for the two clients. www.maakuntaennuste.fi
Surveys
The South-west Finland Regional Forecast is based on an annual survey sent to member businesses of the Suomen Yrittäjät in the region.
Analysis and content planning
The survey is the basis for a report, the South-west Finland Regional Forecast, which reflects the economic outlooks and advocacy needs of business owners in the region ahead of the upcoming year.
Media and stakeholder relations
The South-west Finland Regional Forecast is released to the media as soon as it is completed and is distributed widely to the local stakeholders of the OP bank and the Suomen Yrittäjät SME association. This service includes press releases, media events and stakeholder events, as well as the related content production.
“Partnering with Eurofacts has satisfied our need to identify SMEs’ expectations. That’s allowed us to gain valuable information to help us serve our small business customers. The good media visibility we’ve got for the important SME themes has also been important.”
